Is business broadband enough, or do we need a leased line?+
It depends on how dependent the site is on the connection. Many offices run well on full fibre broadband with a resilient backup path. Where upload demand, contention or repair times are business critical, a leased line is usually the better answer.
How does failover actually work?+
The router monitors the primary connection and switches traffic to the backup service when it fails or degrades beyond a set threshold, then switches back when the primary is stable. We configure the behaviour and test it before handover.
Will 4G or 5G backup be fast enough?+
It is normally sized to keep essential work going rather than to replicate the primary line: email, cloud applications, voice and remote access. We agree what must keep working before choosing the service and data allowance.
Can you manage the broadband we already have?+
Yes. We can review existing services, add resilience, standardise router and firewall configuration and take on monitoring and supplier management without replacing circuits that are already fit for purpose.
