Cyber Security

Managed Cyber Security That Protects Your Business Advantage

Layered, monitored defence across identity, email and endpoints, cyber security for small business teams designed around your risk profile, aligned to Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001, and built to unlock the contracts that demand it.

Overview

Our Approach to Cyber Security

Managed cyber security is now a boardroom conversation about revenue, reputation and resilience. We design a proportionate, layered defence around your business, combining modern controls, 24/7 monitoring and clear reporting your leadership team can act on.

What's Included

Everything You Need From Cyber Security

  • Endpoint protection (EDR/XDR)
  • Email & phishing defence
  • Multi-Factor Authentication & conditional access
  • Identity & privileged access management
  • Security awareness training & phishing simulations
  • 24/7 threat monitoring & response
Why It Matters

The Outcomes You'll Actually See

Reduce material risk

Layered controls and 24/7 monitoring meaningfully reduce the likelihood, and impact, of a serious incident.

Confidence at board level

Clear reporting, tested response plans and evidence you can hand straight to your board, insurers or auditors.

Unlock bigger contracts

Pass supplier security questionnaires and enterprise procurement reviews, security becomes a commercial enabler.

What Success Looks Like

  • A measurable reduction in cyber risk
  • Audit- and board-ready reporting on demand
  • Security as a competitive differentiator
Use Cases

Where Cyber Security Makes the Biggest Difference

Passing an enterprise security questionnaire

A large customer or partner is asking for evidence of MFA, EDR, monitoring, backups and incident response before signing the contract.

What we deliver: We map their questionnaire to your current controls, close the gaps and give you audit-ready evidence, so security stops blocking commercial deals.

Locking down Microsoft 365 after a phishing incident

A user has clicked a phishing link or an inbox has been compromised, and leadership wants to know it can't happen again.

What we deliver: We contain the incident, harden identity with MFA and Conditional Access, deploy email defence and phishing simulations, and report the residual risk to the board.

Rolling out MFA and Conditional Access across the estate

MFA coverage is patchy, legacy authentication is still enabled, and admins share credentials.

What we deliver: We deploy phishing-resistant MFA, Conditional Access and privileged access controls in stages, so security uplifts without breaking day-to-day work.

Meeting cyber insurance renewal controls

Your insurer has tightened the renewal questionnaire — EDR, MFA, immutable backups, awareness training — and you can't tick every box.

What we deliver: We deliver the required controls, produce the evidence pack, and often unlock better premiums or higher cover limits at renewal.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

We're small, are we really a target?+

Yes. Most attacks are automated and indiscriminate. SMEs are hit because they're easier targets, not because they're valuable ones.

Do you replace our existing antivirus?+

Usually, yes. Traditional antivirus isn't enough anymore, we deploy modern EDR/XDR that detects behaviour, not just known files.

Can you help us get Cyber Essentials?+

Absolutely, see our GRC service. We'll get you certified and keep you certified.

How much does cyber security cost for a small business?+

For a UK SME, a layered cyber security programme typically starts around £15 to £30 per user per month, covering EDR, email security, MFA, monitoring and awareness training. Cost scales with headcount and data sensitivity, not company size.

What is the difference between EDR, XDR and antivirus?+

Antivirus looks for known malicious files. EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) watches behaviour on each device and can isolate a compromised machine. XDR extends that visibility across email, identity and cloud so threats are correlated across the whole environment.

How long does it take to improve our cyber security posture?+

Foundational controls (MFA, EDR, email security, hardened Microsoft 365) can be deployed in 2 to 4 weeks. A full posture uplift with monitoring, policy and Cyber Essentials Plus typically runs 8 to 12 weeks.

Do we need a SOC or is managed detection and response enough?+

For most UK SMEs, a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service delivers 24/7 monitoring, threat hunting and incident response without the cost of building an in-house SOC. We advise on the right level based on risk, sector and compliance obligations.

We provide managed protection across our service areas: endpoint and network defence, identity and email security, monitoring, and Cyber Essentials certification support. When something does go wrong, we help contain the incident, work through recovery and put the lessons back into your controls, working alongside your insurer and any specialist responders involved.
